Simon Cowell alters American Idol format to keep to ‘timing’
Apparently, American Idol supremo Simon Cowell has changed the format of the show so that only two out of the four judges can comment on each contestant.
Simon reportedly made the decision because judges Paula Abdul and Kara DioGuardi “talked too much” during last week’s show, causing it to run over its time slot.
Idol host Ryan Seacrest explained the change saying, “We’re working in teams tonight, so we make it in on time.”
Not that first time I’ve heard that, but that’s another story…
