It just dawned on me yesterday, whilst reading some articles on Simon Cowell’s recent split from Terri Seymour, that Sinitta had made a similar announcement just a week before.

Sinitta told The Mirror that her husband, Andy Willner, has recently moved to Hong Kong long term and though they haven’t officially spilt up she’s not sure that they will ever live together as a family again. In the same interview Sinitta raved about her children’s godfather Simon Cowell and how attentive he is to her children.

Only a week later and it emerges that Mr Cowell has split from his long term girlfriend, Terry Seymour and has bought her a new house in LA as a parting gift.

So is this just a coincidence or is there love in the pipeline for these former lovebirds?

Well a source from the X Factor has told The Mirror today:

"Sinitta and Simon have become much closer recently, they have have been offering each other much support over their troubled relationships. Sinitta has always helped put a smile back on Simon’s face. She’s become the closest person to him.”

I personally don’t know if Simon is that desperate, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find Sinitta chasing after him now that he’s single. She has been trailing around on his coat tails since the 80s after all!
