X Factor and American idol judge, Simon Cowell, will be the first guest to appear on the new revamped ‘This Is Your Life’.
A source told the Daily Star: “Simon’s the ideal big name for our first show when we return. He’s had a colourful rags-to-riches life.”
Producers are also said to trying a new host and new look and are lining up David Beckham for the new series in a bid to make the classic show appeal to a younger audience.

surely ” This is your life” is too outdated.
The show only worked in the past because there was less press intrusion on celebs, now we know everything about, cos they keep writing books etc.
As for david beckham what part of his life do we not know about. That has not been feartured in the papers ,biographies, autobiographies, TV, OK, Hello, etc.
If David Beckham has a poo we know about it. So what can “this is your life” tell us about the Likes of the modern celeb, because they are all completely overexposed.
I’v seen simomn’s houses, his mother, his girlfriend, his car, his school report, his botty, him wearing women’s clothes , him dating sinitta, him dating other ladies etc .
Cant producers think of a new programme that will actually work? Very lazy TV or what
