Sophie Price has admitted that sister Katie did break down when Peter Andre left her earlier this year.

Katie told Piers Morgan that she hadn’t shed a tear over her and Peter’s split, however Sophe told The Sun:

“When I rang Kate, she started crying. [She said], ‘Pete’s left me’. She was devastated.

“It would be weird to see her breaking down in tears, because it’s so rare. When you do, it’s really upsetting.”

Sophie thinks Katie held out some hope for a reconciliation. She added: “When she went out to the Maldives, I think she asked him to go with her, but I think he’d had enough.

“Obviously it would be nice to see the family all back together, but I can’t see it happening.”
