Dan Osbourne and Danielle Lloyd Make Semi Finals
Dan Osbourne and Danielle Lloyd dove head first into the Splash! semi finals tonight, as the third set of celebrities were pitched against each other to prove what goes up must come down as they learn to dive.
Tonight Conservative MP Penny Mordaunt, comedian Patrick Monahan, and singer Paul Young joined Dan and Danielle to take to the diving boards.
At the end of each show, the contestant at the top of the leader board (judges scores and viewer votes combined) will go through to the semi-final whilst the next two contestants face a Splash! Off. The judges will then decide which diver was the most successful in the Splash!-off and they too will go through to the semi-final.
Dan Osbourne went straight through to the semi-finals and Danielle Lloyd and Penny Mordaunt found themselves in the Splash! Off.
Andy Banks voted to save Danielle, Jo Brand voted to save Danielle and Leon Taylor voted to save Danielle so Danielle was the second celebrity to go through to the semi-final.
Patrick Monahan was first up and dived off the 10 metre board and scored 23 out of 30.
Leon said “You’re completely bonkers and that helps. That’s the most difficult dive we’ve seen this series.”
Jo said “I was expecting something hilarious, it was quite hilarious.”
Paul Young dived off the 7.5 metre board and scored 20.5 out of 30
Leon said “Well executed, great line into the water. But I just don’t think that’s going to be good enough to go through.”
Jo said “You and I are a similar age, I admire what you did. It was great.”
Penny Mordaunt dived off the 7.5 metre board and scored 22.5 out of 30
Jo said “That was one scary dive that you attempted there.”
Andy said “Penny that really is not an easy dive, it’s a blind take off. Good effort from me.”
Dan Osbourne dived off the 10 metre board and scored 23.5 out of 30
Andy said “The flight in the air was just that little bit scruffy but I thought it was still a good effort.”
Jo said “Dan I don’t fancy you, you’ve let yourself go to seed. But I thought you were very good.”
Danielle Lloyd dived off the 5 metre board and scored 20 out of 30
Leon said “It was a beautiful dive. You got all the way back up to the 5 metre, I’m very impressed with your bravery.”
Andy said “Beautiful off the board, it just rolled through a fraction early.”
