Steve Jones has revealed that he is delighted to be home after he was forced to eat rats brains during his time in the Amazon jungle.

T4 presenter Steve and his two brothers filmed the hour-long documentary for Sky 1, Steve Jones and his Brothers: Great Amazon Adventure, last month.

They spent a week on their own in the jungle before spending their final night with a tribe and Steve told The Sun:

“It was hellish. I ate a rat and its brains. But when you haven’t eaten for three days you’ll eat anything.

“It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I was glad to have my brothers there.”
