Strictly Come Dancing 2012: Sian Williams, is latest celebrity to sign up!

Fans of former BBC Breakfast presenter, Sian Williams, can breathe a sigh of relief as she is coming back to the BBC to take part in this years Strictly Come Dancing, according to the Sun newspaper.

Williams quit her role on the hugely popular Breakfast show after it moved studios to Media City UK in Salford, claiming that the commute would be too much and that she was unprepared to relocate.

Fans were treated to a sample of what we have in store in this years series of the popular family entertainment ballroom dancing show, as Williams took part in Children In Need Strictly special last November when she took to the dance floor with professional dancer, Vincent Simone.

A source said: “She is hugely popular with BBC viewers and is fit as a fiddle so we want her on the dance floor.”

And she wont be the only Williams to take part, as gold-medal-winning British Winter Olympic champion, Amy Williams is also being lined up to take part.

Amy, who signed up for the show after announcing her retirement from her sport, the skeleton – a kind of face-down sledging – in which she bagged a gold at the 2010 Vancouver Games, has appeared on popular TV shows such as  A Question Of Sport, A League Of Their Own and Jonathan Ross and the source added: “Amy is full of beans and is really fun to have around.”

Williams and Williams join cricketer Michael Vaughan and TV presenter Fern Britton, who have also signed up for the show, whilst it was announced earlier this year that ballerina Darcey Bussell will replace Alesha Dixon on the judging panel.
