Strictly Come Dancing 2012: Len Goodman marries in surprise ceremony
Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman got married in a surprise ceremony this weekend.
The television star, 68, kept the wedding secret and invited guests, including fellow Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke, to what they thought was just lunch.Len married dance teacher Sue Barrett, 47, with whom he has been in a relationship for more than 10 years.
Len told the Daily Mail: “I’ve had a marvellous day and now my gorgeous Sue is the new Mrs Goodman.
“I wanted it to be a low-key affair so we didn’t tell anyone except my 98-year-old mum as I didn’t want her having a heart attack with the surprise.”
The couple married at London private dining club Mossiman’s.
The professional ballroom dancer first married Cherry Kingston in his early 20s.
Len and Cherry later divorced and he had son James with long-term ex partner Lesley.
