Susan Boyle to return to Britain’s Got Talent for final?

Simon Cowell is reportedly bringing Susan Boyle back to her roots by having her perform on this years Britain’s Got Talent finals, in her first return to the show since her runners-up melt down in 2009, when she came second in the competition to dance group, Diversity.

Since competing in the popular ITV talent show four years ago, the surprise singing sensation has sold over 18 million albums both in the UK and the States, despite her very temperamental  personality which resulted in a trip to the Priory when her rapid rise to fame raised serious questions regarding her mental health.

According to reports, bosses at ITV now believe that the Scottish star, who has been a global inspiration during her ugly duckling to swan transformation, is now ready to return, just in time to give them their best ever viewing figures in an attempt to salvage the series’ rating slump this year.

A source told TV Biz: “Susan is the most successful reality contestant of all time.

“It will be a huge coup to get her back on the show.

“Fans won’t want to miss her.

“The Susan that was on the show has changed so much. If they can make the schedules work then it will be unmissable telly.”

“Susan handles fame her way now and is happier than she’s ever been.”

However, Boyle is currently making special guest appearances in the touring musical, I Dreamed A Dream, a show based on the reality stars rise to fame, which could mean a timing clash with the final on May12.

It was 2009 that Subo was on BGT, so she’s sold 18 million records in THREE years, plus published a bestselling autobio and is co-owner and producer of the touring hit musical of her life. Estimates of her wealth range from $15-$20 million.

I wonder how many people could have gotten through BGT, all alone, with absolutely no help, any better than she did. Then to top it off they had her locked up in the Priory against her will. Now they say they think she’s ready to return to that freak show?
Let them earn their ratings this time without her. Besides, they find the “next Susan Boyle” every week. Let them use one of them.

locked up in the Priory for the protection of the hotel & the other guests. what else could they do – she was going bonkers & there was no family around. she did go voluntarily.
