Take That’s Gary Barlow wins Classic Songwriter Q Music Award
Gary Barlow really is the man of the moment!
The X Factor judge is dominating our TV screens each weekend, but reminding us just why Simon Cowell hired him for the job, today the hunky singer won a Q Music Award for being a ‘Classic Songwriter.’
The Take That star was awarded with the honorary prize, to makr his twenty years of producing hit music for himself, his band and a whole host of other artists.
Gary received the accolade at a star studded bash today, in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel and soon after took to Twitter to tell his followers:
I’m so honoured to have won Q’s Classic Songwriter Award.
The dad of three then announced two upcoming solo concerts, writing:
I am playing two solo concerts for charity at the Royal Albert Hall on December 5th,6th. Tickets go on sale this Friday 28th
With Robbie Williams recently revealing that he will be refocusing on his solo career and leaving Take That behind for a while, we hope that Mr B isn’t planning to do the same.
Will you be getting tickets for the gig? Leave your comments and congratulations for Gary below.

Congratulations to Gaz! Very well deserved! About freakin’ time he got the recognition he’s always deserved!
How exciting that he’s doing solo gigs for a charity! Hope all the thatters go out and support our guy. Wish I lived in the UK. I’d love to see him in concert someday.
Nahhhhh
He should make a solo record again. I bet it would be successful. If he would do it, people would stop saying that he can’t be a solo artist. He can do it, he’s great.
