Gary Barlow has had quite the busy week.

The former X Factor judge hasn’t been getting much rest since leaving the ITV show and this week he jetted off to LA to perform at Harvey Weinstein’s pre-Oscar bash.

The Take That star sang songs from his forthcoming musical Finding Neverland, and rubbed shoulders with some of the most important people in the global film and music industry. He also enjoyed a reunion with lovely ladies Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne during his trip.

However it seems the dad of three is coming home as his Take That bandmate Howard Donald told fans that the group are returning to the studio this week to continue work on their next album.

The next record is expected to drop later this year, with a tour to follow in 2015. The boys have been hard at work on their new material since January and it seems they’ll be adding the finishing touches very soon.

Howard tweeted his fans yesterday saying:

“Studio this week with the boys. C’mon!!”

Gaz only has a few weeks to spare before his own solo tour begins in Belfast on 29th March.

We reported a few weeks ago that the star had invited former bandmate Robbie Williams to return to the fold again and gave him the chance to contribute to their new album, however with his own work commitments it looks unlikely that the new dad will accept.

Robbie’s swing tour kicks off in the UK in June and in preparation for his energetic shows the star has apparently drastically reduced his eating!

The star out on lots of weight a few years ago so in a bid to stay trim he has been eating just one meal a day.

Speaking to Mix 94.5 he said:

“My secret is not eating. Christmas was just a vast array of chocolate and cake and sugar and carbohydrates.”

“My regime so far year is to have a big breakfast and then two protein shakes for the rest of the day.”

Yes! Gary Barlow announces new single as Robbie Williams casts doubts on Take That reunion!

Lisa McGarry

Lisa has been watching reality TV for too long now. She won't do any housework unless 'Big Brother' announces it over the tannoy and everything she does has to be put to a public vote!

With or without Rob TT are great.
I do prefer TT4. Would love them
To produce something on the lines
Of the Circus live. This was a
    Brilliant Album and Tour.

You guys really must be missing a trick…the zest and new drive RW injected into TT for the Progress album and tour was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Without him TT do songs for smooth radio only.

Sorry Evie but the earlier tours were much, much better than Progress. You may find some who preferred it, but I guarantee the majority of TT fans preferred the BW and Circus tours. By the way what’s wrong in liking wonderful, melodic timeless music?
