Teenagers Become Parents In New Reality TV Show!

Bounty UK reports

Teenagers are to get a glimpse of what life is like raising a baby as the stars of a new reality TV show.

Teen Town, to be screened on BBC3, will see couples aged 16 to 19 live adult lives in their own specially built houses and look after real-life children, some as young as six months.

“We hope that living like this in a real house with real children will give them a glimpse of what family life is really about,” executive producer Ben Gale told the Sun.

Full-time nannies and the babies’ real parents will live in nearby houses and offer help and assistance when necessary. The real parents will also have daily contact with their babies.

Registered charity Teens & Toddlers will also be involved to make sure the issue is handled in the correct way and that the show proceeds sensitively.

The Teen Town residents will be set a series of tasks to complete to see if they feel they are ready for the demands of family life when the show airs early next year.
