Sean Lowe admits he felt difficult during Monday’s Women Tell All special of the US version of The Bachelor.
The episode of the popular ABC reality series saw Sean meet up with all his former fellow contestants and featured Sarah question him on her elimination and the group also confronted Tierra about her deception during her time on the series.
However, Sean admitted he found meeting everyone again difficult and that he didn’t expect it to be as harrowing as it was.
He told People: “That was rougher than I expected… and more awkward.”
The 28-year-old admitted he wasn’t prepared for having to give his reasons for why he rejected each of the female contestants.
He said: “It was harder than I thought it’d be to see them all in person again. Glad I only have to do that once.”
Sean also denied contestant AshLee Frazier’s claim that he told her he had no interest in the other women on the show at all.
He explained: “I’m certainly not calling her a liar, I just think I probably said something that she took the wrong way.”
However, AshLee maintains: “It is what he said among some other things. I was like, ‘Hello? Are you kidding me? That’s what you said to me on the overnight date.’
“I thought I was going to be the last girl standing and I wish he’d have extended the same courtesy to that he did for Sarah and not made me go through a rose ceremony once he decided to send me home.
“But it is what it is. I have no ill will for him, I’m over him and I hope he finds happiness.”
The final episode of The Bachelor airs in America on Monday March 11 at 8/7c on ABC.
