The Big Reunion: 5ive singer Richie Neville reveals his “f**k-fest” with Steps’ Lisa Scott-Lee
Richie Neville has revealed that he had a short but intense affair with Lisa Scott-Lee when they were both at the height of their fame in the 1990s.
The handsome 5ive member has reunited with all his old bandmates – except for ‘J’ Brown – for a new ITV2 show The Big Reunion, which begins this Thursday evening.
It looks like lots of juicy secrets are going to be revealed during the show and in an interview with heat magazine, Richie didn’t want to speak too much about his relationship with the now married singer and said:
“I’m not going there.”
His bandmates, however, said Richie and Lisa enjoyed “a full on f**k-fest”.
Neville wasn’t the only boy who made the most of their notoriety Scott Robinson, Abs Love and Sean Conlon admitted that they slept around a lot during their time in the charts and have no conception of how many women they bedded while their band was on top.
Abs thinks it may have been between “500 to 1,000 and 80% was between the age of 15 to 17″
He also said that he partied much too hard and ended up in danger. He said he “nearly killed [him]self”, but now farms, lives in a rural area and is “a good boy now”.
The Big Reunion will follow the lives of British pop bands Five, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz, 911 and Liberty X, as well as Irish group B*Witched, who were originally active in the 1990s and/or early 2000s.
The show will start on 31 January 2013 and will see the reunited bands rehearsing for two weeks ahead of one major comeback performance. The first episode will feature Liberty X and 5ive.
ITV Studios creative director Michael Kelpie and Phil Mount act as executive producers. Kelpie said: “To reunite these bands, tell the stories of what has happened to them since their heydays and follow them as they prepare to step back on the stage for the first time in a decade is a dream come true.” Jain added, “We are thrilled to bring the stories of these pop groups up to date…A lot has happened in the time these bands have been apart – marriages, divorces and changes in careers – and who knows quite what will happen when they reunite!”
