Noughties boy band Blue are the latest pop group to ditch their stints on Celebrity who wants to be a big fat gypsy bake off and join ITV2′s ‘The Big Reunion.’ The boys have been quiet since coming 11th in Eurovision 2011, but are back together ahead of releasing new material later this year. With Blue joining, expect stories of Lee Ryan’s wild nights, crying montages, and Duncan James’ coming out story.
The show has expanded it’s lineup which already includes the troubled back stories of B*Witched, Liberty X and Atomic Kitten. ‘The Big Reunion’ is bringing millennium nostalgia into our homes and seems to bigger ratings smash than ‘Reborn in the USA’ (we don’t remember it either). Pull out your posters from the back of the wardrobe, and get ready for Peter Waterman to cash in on the tour.
The Blue lads tweeted their fans today saying:
“We didn’t forget you here at home in the UK and it’s been a secret hard to keep. We are excited and pleased to announce we are indeed part of ITV2′s “The Big ReUnion” alongside Atomic Kitten, 5ive, 911, BeWitched, The Honeyz & Liberty X. Together with this amazing line up we will be performing live at The Hammersmith Apollo in London for one night only – so don’t miss us and all the action on ITV2, Thursday nights.”
