The Black Eyed Peas perform “Don’t Stop the Party” on Dancing With The Stars 2011 finale! (VIDEO)

It wouldn’t be a decent reality TV final if you didn’t have The Black Eyed Peas on for a performance and last night the American supergroup did not diappoint.

They took to the stage during the season finale of Dancing With The Stars and rocked out with their latest single “Don’t Stop the Party”.

It was an all male group who first took to the stage, as Taboo, will.i.am and apl.de.ap kicked off the futuristic performance and we were just beginning to feel the beat when Fergie brought a more melodic quality to the track, as she appeared above the crowd on a suspended platform and was lowered to the stage.

It was a much better live performance from the group than we have heard in recent months and as we bopped along at home, all we could think about was how much we wanted to hit the dancefloor and hear the song in a club setting. That’s when The Peas’ material really comes to life!

Don’t Stop the Party” was written by all four band members, along with Joshua Alvarez, and LeRoy. It was announced on May 09, 2011 on the band official website that the song is the third single from album The Beginning and a music video for the song was released on iTunes the next day, May 10, 2011.

The Black Eyed Peas have previously performed the track live on the Paul O’Grady Show on 13 May,2011. It was part of their set at Radio 1′s Big Weekend 2011 and on 17 May the group also performed the song at the French Edition of X Factor.
