The Voice 2013: Will.i.am blasts Cleo Higgins, reportedly saying “I’m sick to death of dealing with her” as he shuns jobless scheme!
It’s been reported today that The Voice coach and mentor Will.i.am is “sick to death” of finalist Cleo Higgins, who he apparently described as “The worst diva we’ve had!”
Cleo – who first shot to fame in 90s band Cleopatra – and Will have reportedly had a series of bust ups backstage, and a show insider claims she even “screamed at him” to end the phone call he was making in order to concentrate on her!
The Mirror quotes the show source as saying, “At one rehearsal she started screaming and shouting at Will to put his mobile down and concentrate on her.
“But she generally just thinks she knows best and refuses to accept his advice.”
As to what Will’s had to say about her, the paper states, “The star judge is ‘sick to death of dealing with her’.”
Fans of the show will know that Cleo is one of only eight remaining hopefuls as the show reaches its final two rounds this weekend. However, bookmakers have her as a 66/1 outsider to win.
Last night, a spokesman for Cleo insisted her relationship with Will was “good” and added that she’s “looking forward to the show this weekend.”
Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Will recently snubbed a charity’s request for his backing after learning that he wouldn’t be paid to assist the unemployed youngsters the charity helps.
The paper states, “The Black Eyed Peas rapper, 38, was set to be the first ambassador of a £100million low-interest loan scheme launched by PM David Cameron and ex-Dragons’ Den guru James Caan.”
However, it seems Will’s managers told him the charity was “not a good fit” with the singer’s public profile.
A spokesman for Mr Caan said, “Like in The Voice, Will sticks his hand over the button, then changes his mind.
“First he’s interested, then his management asks if he’s getting any money, then he’s not interested.”
Meanwhile, Will’s US agent apparently admitted the charity had asked Will for money for his participation, however the report adds, “But she claimed they were after a fee for the Prince’s Trust charity rather than the star himself.”
But back to the first story in this article, and here’s a reminder of Cleo on The Voice…
