To The Manor Bowen – October

LIVING has commissioned Jamie Oliver’s production company Fresh One Productions, (Jamie’s Chef /Channel 4, Road Kill Chef /BBC3), to make To The Manor Bowen, an eight-part observational documentary, capturing the highs, lows and tantrums, as the gloriously eccentric Bowen family settle into village life and discover the differences between city life in the fast lane, and a gentler pace of life in the country. The show will air on Living this October

In an honest appraisal of their London life, Laurence and his wife Jackie have taken stock, decided to risk all and trade in their comfortable family town house to relocate to a run-down, unloved 17th century Gloucestershire manor house.

Cameras will follow the real life dilemmas as the inimitable Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Jackie and two daughters tackle moving house; redesigning, decorating and furnishing a new property; settling in at new schools; meeting the neighbours and becoming part of a local, close-knit community.
