The Only Way Is Essex love birds, Sam Faiers and Joey Essex, have been spotted having a romantic meal for two ahead of their Million Pound Drop appearance tomorrow evening.

The couple, who recently reunited during the last series of the hit ITV2 show, were pictured in today’s Daily Mail newspaper, dining in the swanky Buckhurst Hill restaurant, The Catch, in Essex last night.

According to the paper, they were using the date as a cramming session to increase their chances on the popular TV game show, however as the pictures show they seemed to be concentrating on staring lovingly into each others eyes far more than the task in hand!

Joey in particular looked overly smitten as his gaze hardly ever left that of his girlfriends eyes, putting all other diners off their fish cuisine we imagine, before wrapping his arms around her to escort her out of the restaurant to the  hungry pack of photographers ready to capture the moment.

When outside he planted an affectionate kiss on the cheek of his lady whilst she happily posed for pictures, looking like the cat that got the cream.

Arriving home after the meal, Joey took to social networking site, Twitter to inform followers that they had gone straight back to their revision in preparation for the show, tweeting:

‘Haha Me and @SamanthaFaiers are watching The Million Pound Drop 2!!!! Good luck dudes… Me and Sam are revising for tomora! ‪#JAM‬ ‪#TEAMJAM’.

This game show appearance comes weeks after rumours began circulating that the couple, who have openly discussed kids and marriage, have set their sights on their own spin-off reality show after their ambitions to be the main couple, and the Faiers to take the title of main TOWIE family from the Wrights, did not materialise.
