TOWIE: Kirk Norcross to release autobiography, Essex Boy: My Story!
The Only Way Is Essex star, Kirk Norcross, is set to release his autobiography, it has been revealed!
According to The Bookseller Pan Macmillan has acquired the autobiography, entitled Essex Boy: My Story, after Editorial director Ingrid Connell acquired world English excluding USA rights from Andrew Lownie in association with Norcross’ manager Adam Muddle at AM Concepts UK.
Norcross, who originally left the series to take part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2011 then re-joined the cast at the beginning of the last series, is said to delve into his poor childhood in the book, which is due for release in April, as well as talking about life gowning up on one of Essex’s toughest Estates before finally reuniting with his millionaire father, TOWIE co-star Mick Norcross, at the age of 18.
Norcross describes this reconciliation as having “thrust him into a very different world”, according to the publisher.
Kirk said: “A lot of people think they know my story. Now once and for all I am telling what really went on. I am really pleased to be working with Pan Macmillan and can’t wait to be out meeting my fans and signing copies of the book.”
Connell said: “We’re all excited to be working with Kirk. I was impressed by how genuine and open he is. He has a powerful story to tell that will surprise his many fans.”
Essex Boy: My Story will be published on 25th April.
