Oh dear, it seems that Tom Pearce isn’t ‘the one’ for Lauren Goodger after all, as she dumps him after a month!  (We would say something clever about honeymoons here, but the truth of the matter is, most honeymoons last longer than this relationship did!)

The Only way Is Essex ‘star’ Lauren Goodger has called time on her very brief encounter with co-star, Tom Pearce, merely days after telling OK! Magazine that he may have been ‘the one’ (the one that got away now, though!).

The couple have been through so much in their 28 days together.  First of all there was the whole Jessica Wright text issue, which made Lauren very angry indeed, but she soon forgot all about that when her ex Mark Wright wandered back on set to watch his sister lip sync quite badly to a recording of herself singing on YouTube!

Straight after pictures of Wright, who quit the hit ITV2 reality show last year to take part in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, both Goodger and Pearce released heartfelt declaration’s that his presence would never come between them.  That was like 3 days ago.

But, as viewers will witness in tomorrow night’s episode of the show, Lauren decides that her new relationship has run its course and callously dumps Tom on national television!

Lauren tells Tom: “I still want to be friends and stuff but I just want you to know that at the minute I want to be by myself.”

To which Tom replies: “No troubs babe. Totally fine.”

But he then adds: “There was like loads of little things that I just thought was weird like, when we were seeing each other.

“You always used to play it down, say to people that we hadn’t slept together. I just thought ‘why’s she denying it?’

“I don’t see why it would be a problem if we’re seeing each other.”

In typical diva style, Lauren takes offence and tells him: “OK. Listen. I think it’s weird that you stand there and say that to me.”

To which Tom says: “I think it’s weird that you keep telling people that, like…just lying about it.”
