Lets hope that Lauren Goodger‘s fake tan is orange enough to cover up embarrassment, as the reality ‘star’ was left rather humiliated when she turned up to meet her hoards of adoring fans at her beauty range launch to find that there were only ten of them!

Goodger, ‘star’ of hit ITV2 reality show The Only Way Is Essex, had been using social networking site, Twitter, to bang on and on about the launch, at a Romford branch of Debenhams, for weeks, but her pleas did not seem to do the trick as only ten loyal fans turned up to support her (but then again that could actually be every fan she has, let’s be honest!)

Despite this rather embarrassing situation, the wannabe-diva took the time and effort to speak to each fan individually (not a great accomplishment considering your average bus driver meets more people a day) as her selection of fake tans went on display, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.

Even Goodger’s own staff seemed to want nothing to do with the launch, as a spokesperson for the rejected fiancée of Mark Wright not only didn’t attend the event themselves, but even commented: ”We have no involvement with Lauren’s Way so have no idea ourselves however the Lauren’s Way team told us that there were approximately 100 people over the course of the time she was there.” – Ahh, they let Joey Essex count them obviously!

This most certainly was not the turnout the salon owner, which has previously been torched by haters, had expected, as she had even ordered (as opposed to requested) barriers to be set up outside the store to protect her from the roaring crowds.

In a tweet she posted yesterday before the even, Goodger had told followers: ’I start my tour of Launches in @Debenhams tomorrow looking forward meeting everyone! 1pm I will be at the Romford store ♥.’

With one fan posting back after the event: ‘Yaayy I just met @LaurenGoodger at debenhams, I’m so excited #MyFavTowieGirl #SheIsStunning http://pic.twitter.com/vUvvdLdw’

Another tweted: ’Best moment of my life! I love you @LaurenGoodger xxxxx’

The other 8 were obviously not very impressed, or just there to shop!

This isn’t the only confidence blow the reality’ star’, who was recently forced to take a break from filming TOWIE after throwing a diva sized tantrum demanding more respect or else she would go over to MTV with her sisters to form the UK equivalent of the Kardashians, has been dealt, as one clubber at an Essex nightspot told the Daily Mail newspaper how a previous personal appearance from Goodger had also failed to draw attention.

The source said:  ”Lauren turned up at about midnight to do a planned personal appearance. It was quite embarrassing because only about 60 or 70 people had showed up to see her.”

“This guy tried to get a picture and a kiss and at first she refused. In the end Lauren let him take the picture but he tried to kiss her and she stumbled and then he took pictures of her on the ground.

“She tried to get them deleted and security had to be called. Eventually the pictures were deleted but Lauren refused to take any more photos with anyone. She left then and we saw her sitting on the stairs for a while.

“Two girls who were leaving the club were furious, ranting “F*****g Lauren Goodger, who does she think she is? She’s nothing but a s**g.” Lauren must have heard them because they were shouting really loudly.

“Last I saw of Lauren was when she got paid and left.”

Poor Goodger must be realising by now that the torrent of abuse she is currently receiving from haters on social networking sites may not be coming from the minority of fans after all.

Lauren said of her current hate campaign: ‘’ll get hundreds of responses to anything I post saying things like “you’re fat”, “you’re ugly”, or “who are you?”

“Some of the more horrific messages read:’I bet your mum and dad hate you’ and ‘I bet your mum wishes her egg had never accepted the sperm that made you.’
