The Only Way Is Essex stars, Mario Falcone and Lucy Mecklenburgh have said that they refuse to compromise their wedding for the hit ITV2 reality show!

Mario and Lucy famously got engaged during the TOWIE summer special, The Only Way Is Marbs, in June this year, and although they have reportedly started planning their big day, have still yet to decide whether or not it will feature in the show that launched their careers!

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Lucy commented: “As long as our family and friends are there … then that’ll be the last thing to decide.”

Mario added: “Obviously that stuff, to us, is more important than the show.”

Despite having all the makings of one of the top celebrity weddings of the year, the couple admit they will never be able to better the recent wedding of Mario’s sister Giovanna to her childhood sweetheart, McFly singer Tom Fletcher in May this year, described by Mario as the “perfect” wedding.

Discussing his sisters big day at the opening of a ‘Titanic’ film prop display at Westfield, London yesterday, he said: “It was just amazing … they literally smashed it. Tom’s speech was actually incredible.”

Of the event they were attending, Mario said: “I think ‘Titanic’ is one of the best films ever released. It was the first ever film I saw at the cinema – I know it literally word for word.”

Lucy added: “Getting to do the pose – it’s an honour, really … I love the dress … It’s good to see everything in front of you.”
