Only a few weeks to go before the new series of The Only Way Is Essex is back on our screens filling our Sunday and Wednesday evenings with purpose once again.

The adverts have started appearing on the TV showing all the cast looking as tanned and vacant as ever, but whilst they promise a jam-packed series, when the filming eventually began, there seemed to be something missing.  The males cast members!

According to the Mirror newspaper, the girls – including Lucy Mecklenburg sporting a lovely orange dress and Gemma Collins flashing some flesh in a wrap around dress, were out in force to film the new series of TOWIE, but were not accompanied by any of the male cast members.

Also spotted on the shoot were Lydia Bright in a floral dress and Sam and Billi Faiers, but not even the girls other halves were even about, leaving us wondering just what this could mean.

Billi Mucklow has been quoted this week saying that she thinks the show needs less boys, and more men, so perhaps show bosses have taken her request literally.
