Blimey, Sam Faiers wasn’t kidding when she said she wanted to be the central post of The Only Way Is Essex, as it seems the reality star is planning to launch her own spin-off show with her on/off/on again boyfriend, Joey Essex now!

Sam came out recently to say how she wanted both her mum and gran to be cast in the hit ITV2 reality show, in a bid for the Faiers to takeover as the main TOWIE family, a title currently held by the Wrights.

But it would seem that it is not just TOWIE domination she is interested in, it’s worldwide domination as she appears to have gone all Kim Kardashian on us wanting her very own show all to herself (well, along with the token Joey!)

According to the Sun Newspaper, Faiers and Essex, who recently rekindled their relationship during the last series of The Only Way Is Essex after a year apart, are planning on making their own Katie and Peter type reality show following their relationship.

The couple, who spent their first date at a rubbish tip back in series two of TOWIE, were spotted discussing the plans in posh London hotspot, W Hotel.

Insiders revealed to the paper: “Sam and Joey were talking about how they were going to do their own spin-off show and how they’d love it to be on ITV2.

“Joey said he thought Sam would be perfect starring in her own show and that people would finally get to see her funny side.”

Despite Joey’s comedy insinuation, Faiers has made it clear that she will not be playing a fool to the cameras.

The insider added: “Sam was insistent she didn’t want to come across as stupid in the show — that was her main focus.

“They both seemed very excited by the new venture.”

Could this mean the end of the TOWIE line for the pair?  We all know about the strict endorsement policies attached to the cast’s £80 a day contract, and with Faiers expressing a desire to move on to pastures new in her recent autobiography, Living Life The Essex Way: TOWIE and Me, maybe this is the avenue she is chosing to lead her away from her Essex reality roots!

Speaking in a recent interview, Faiers said: “I’ve done five series so there will come a time when I leave.

“I don’t want to be there with no new storylines because I’ve already done everything I can do.”

However, last night Joey’s manager said: “There is nothing official being discussed yet and there are no plans for Joey to go anywhere at the minute.

“But the guys may chat about ideas they have.”
