As the contest for who is the hottest couple on The Only Way Is Essex intensifies, Sam Faiers has opened up about what makes her tick, in a bid to keep at least one headline away from the self-proclaimed new Posh and Becks of Essex, Gemma Collins and James Argent.

Faiers, who is currently dating co-star Joey Essex, has publicly declared her desire to be the new IT family and relationship in the hit ITV2 reality show, taking the title from current holders, the Wrights.  But with everyone talking about the new super-sized relationship of Gemma and Arg, it would seem she may have some competition!

Talking to TV Biz at the launch of her new perfume, Love Addict, the busty blonde spoke about her love of true romance and the best way to win her heart.

“I’m quite simple as long as you’ve been taken to a nice restaurant, a nice drink and, if it’s your boyfriend, treat you to a nice night over in London in a lovely hotel, that kind of thing does it for me”

And despite Mario Falcone accusing her of cheating on Joey in Sunday night’s episode, Sam went on to insist that things are better than ever for the couple, who got back together earlier this year (right about the time the 5th series was due to start, funny enough!)

“Let’s just say that things are going really well with me and Joey.”

Also present at the launch was Arg himself, not to support Sam but to promote his own fragrance (Eau De kebab we are thinking) which must have ticked her off no end as it was reported recently that several of the cast members have threatened to quit TOWIE due to working conditions such as pay and not enough air time in order to give Gemma and Arg the maximum amount of coverage.  Sam and Joey were even forced to double date with the new couple during the opening episode of series 6, well it was probably the only way they could get air time!
