After what seem like years of TOWIE’s Lydia Bright crying and accusing her ex boyfriend, Arg (James Argent) of cheating her, the unlikely love rat has confessed all to her mum, Debbie, whilst Lydia finally seems to have moved on and gets a first kiss out of Tom Kilbey!

Fans of The Only Way Is Essex have watched over the last series of the show how the aftermath of the split has caused row after row between the two former lovers, with Arg hurling abuse at Lydia at every opportunity he could find.

Just last week, viewers were shocked as it was revealed that Arg called the Bella Sorella owner a w***e after it emerged that she had indulged in a one night stand, after the couple had parted ways.

But, despite his nastiness and vile words, it was very clear for all to see that Arg still held a burning torch for his ex, made even more apparent in an episode last week, where it was revealed that Lydia had started a texting relationship with marathon Cara’s brother, Tom.

Arg didn’t take the news well, and had it out with Tom, who remained firm, he liked Lydia and if she liked him too, then he was going to “go for it”, advice given to him by Tom Pearce.  Lashing out at both Tom’s Arg’s final attempt to stop Lydia from moving on was to try to enlist the help of the one person she would listen to, who was also unfortunately, his biggest critic, her mum Debbie.

Whilst viewers can watch Lydia and Tom have their first kiss in tonight’s series finale, a desperate Arg pleads to Debbie’s better nature, but whilst the pair have a heart to heart, Arg confesses to his ex’s mum that the rumours about him cheating on Lydia in the past were in fact true, in emotional scenes that can be seen in tonight’s episode.

An emotional and tearful Debbie responds to the confession by saying:  ”You call Lydia all those horrible, disgusting names, who are you hurting? You’re hurting her desperately.  You’ve turned into some sort of monster, I don’t know what’s happened to you.”

To which a deflated Arg admitted:  ”It was hard enough when Mark went away, I found that quite tough and then I lost Lydia and it just sort of like the two most important people in my life I lost at once.”

And speaking of Mark, it was he who Arg made a mad dash for when the show finished filming this week, joining his friend on the set of his new reality show in Las Vegas.

Former TOWIE and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here star, Mark Wright, who was an original member of The Only Way Is Essex, and who’s close bromance with Arg resulted in them being given the combined nick name, Marg, has been  over in the US for the past few weeks filming his new ITV2 reality show, Mark Wright’s Hollywood Nights which premiers on ITV2 on June 3 .

Wright, who took  DJ Nick Da Funk, Tommy Smith, his cousin Georgie Wright and his manager Neil Dobias, out to film with him on the show, was obviously very excited to be reunited with his friend.  He took to social networking site, Twitter, to tweet about his friend:  ’This man has been smiling 4 3 days he lives the dream and I love him.’

Arg returned the compliment by taking to Twitter himself, tweeting: ’Best place in the world 4 a Hangover #Vegas an the best mate in the world @MarkWright_ #MargReunited.

‘Got Jet Lag and its hard with time difference out here! Had a nap and @MarkWright_ poured a bucket of water over me 3 times! #nothingchanges.’

According to the Daily Mail newspaper, upon his arrival, Arg and Wright, hired a $5,000 poolside cabana at  the Cosmopolitan Hotel’s pool party, where Arg stripped off to a pair of orange swimming trunks as he lapped up the hot desert sun.
