Amy Childs, who of course shot to fame on hit ITV2 show The Only Way Is Essex – and who subsequently appeared on Celebrity Big Brother – has revealed that she’s been “inundated” with marriage proposals!

21 year old Amy told the Daily Star Sunday, “I get so many fans who want to marry me – it’s absolutely crazy.

“I find it really flattering but I haven’t accepted any of their offers. It’s nice to know they like me enough to propose though!”

Amy, who has around a million followers on Twitter went on to say that while she appreciates the affection shown to her by fans, there’s always the flipside in that “haters” can be upsetting.

She said, “I get some abuse that isn’t very nice. But I don’t let it get to me – I always think people shouldn’t be we’ll gel.

“I ignore them most of the time…”

However, Amy doesn’t have a great deal of time to dwell on the “haters” or, for that matter, the adoring fans, as she’s currently juggling several TV projects, one of which is a new Channel 5 series of Celebrity Wedding Planner.

Of her hectic schedule, and of the fact that she says she won’t do any shows similar to Celeb BB again for a while, Amy added, “I’m really busy with other projects and want to focus on them.

“I do love doing reality TV and one day I would love to do Strictly Come Dancing…but not this year.”
