TOWIE’s Sam Faiers has “upset” Amy Childs

Former The Only Way Is Essex star, Amy Childs, has revealed that her one time good friend, Sam Faiers, has upset after reading her new tell all autobiography, Living Life The Essex Way: Towie And Me.

Childs, who quit the hit ITV2 reality show after its second series to take part in Celebrity Big Brother, took to her weekly New! magazine column to voice her opinion of the new book, which Sam launched this week at G-A-Y nightclub in London, saying that she felt “hurt” when reading what Sam had to say about her.

According to Childs, Faiers – who recently got back together with ex boyfriend, Joey Essex on the show, has written some very upsetting things about the beauty therapist.

Amy wrote: “I was upset to learn my friend Sam Faiers has written some not-so-nice things about me in her book.

“In it, she claims I’m not the person she thought I was and said my management comes before my friends.

“I was very hurt and upset to read this, especially as she was messaging me on Twitter last week, saying she misses me.

“I wish she had told me this beforehand, so I didn’t have to read it in a newspaper.”

Childs then went on to talk about a grudge for her held by other TOWIE cast members, saying:

Amy went on to explain that some members of TOWIEhold a grudge against her. ”The truth is that some of the TOWIE lot have held a little bit of a grudge because I was the first one to leave the show.

“I don’t think they could understand my decision, and when I signed with my manager Claire Powell, they all thought I believed I had hit the big time.

“But I don’t think like that at all. My friends are very important to me, and Claire is like my second mum.

“I try my hardest to speak to all of my friends, but it has to work both ways too.”
