Tulisa won’t perform on this year X Factor due to ‘dodgy’ BGT appearance
X Factor judge, Tulisa Contostavlos, has admitted that she may not take to the X Factor stage herself to perform this year after her embarrassing and “dodgy” Britain’s Got Talent appearance.
N-Dubz singer, Tulisa, received much criticism after she took to the BGT stage earlier this year to perform her number one solo single, Young, where she was slammed for her “half-hearted dancing and dodgy outfit”.
When approached about the possibility of an X Factor exclusive performance during this series, the auditions for which started this week, the feisty Camden Town lady said: “Obviously I’ll have more singles out this year so it just depends if the timing of the single is when the show is on. It’s a possibility but I’ve got no idea yet when my next one will be out.”
She then went on to add how she had no intention of changing her mentor styles this year, and why would she as in her debut year in the job she took the first ever female group, Little Mix, to the final, who then became the first ever winning group in the shows history!
She said: “I’m definitely not going to try to do anything differently – but obviously I’ve matured in the past year.
“I managed to have a laugh last year but I just think I am going to be less worried about what people think.”
The X Factor auditions kicked off in Liverpool this week and Tulisa was seated beside new guest judge Geri Halliwell for the tryouts.
Insiders say the former Spice Girl was desperate to bond with her younger co-star and gushed about her ‘fit’ figure and stunning outfit, causing the warm up man to joke:
‘She really wants this job!’

The X Factor auditions started this week in Liverpool, and are currently taking place in London at the O2 arena which viewers can see on their screens later in the year.
