Channel 4 have issued an apology to Mac users via the video above about making them wait so long to access their catch up TV service, 4oD.

Channel 4 are using an Adobe Flash player to deliver the content so both Apple Mac and Linux OS users will be able to use the service. At this stage just the 4oD catch-up streaming service is available, but this is the first step in providing the full service to Mac users and they are working on the archive facility which will be available to Mac users later in the year.

The relaunch of the catch-up service is part of an overall relaunch of Channel4.com which has been in development for over a year but was completed on 1st April.
