It’s the 26th of April and tonight’s episode of The Next Chapter begins with Katie and Peter touching down in Florida. It’s very early in the morning when they arrive with Princess and Katie and Peter are tired and not in the best of moods. They get followed out of the airport by paparazzi but when they are followed into their resort they have to sit and wait for the security to get rid of them. As they sit and wait, they bicker at one other about anything and everything. Eventually they get into their house, but the arguing continues as Peter is trying to entertain the camera and Katie wants peace and quiet and to put Princess to sleep.

After a rest, Katie and Peter are excited to see the arrival of Harvey and Junior from London that night. It’s been several days since they last saw them and there is some quality family playtime when they arrive. Harvey entertains everyone with his prank phone calls and Junior tells Peter that he hates it when he is away. The next morning and Katie, Peter and Junior are heading off to spend the day at an authentic American cattle ranch. They are all excited and start off in the ranch shop to equip themselves with the appropriate attire. While Peter tries the cowboy hats on, and Katie wants some pink cowgirl boots, Junior spots a pink baseball cap that he sets his heart on. When Peter tries to explain to Junior that pink is not a suitable colour for him, Junior gets very upset. To cheer Junior up, Katie and Peter take a short ride on a golf buggy, but it descends into an argument as Katie tells Peter that she thinks he doesn’t act himself on camera. Peter gets upset by this and when they eventually are taken off for some cattle herding they are both in bad moods. But after a few hours in the saddle, we can see them holding hands again and harmony is finally restored. Just before they leave, Katie and Peter try their hand at bull whipping, with hilarious results.

The following day and all the family at getting ready for a big day out a Disneyworld. On the way there Peter tries out some of his new jokes but Katie thinks she can say them better. When they arrive they have their photos taken for a magazine. Peter gives an impromptu biology lesson to Junior when he asks what a couple ducks are doing. Peter is a bit scared of all the adult rides so whilst the others go off to ride them he accompanies Junior to get his face painted. The day ends with a Disney BBQ and Junior is straight onto the dance floor, and his funky moves soon attract an admirer. Junior dances with an American girl and Peter is very proud. After the BBQ he jokes with Junior about whether he got her number, Junior says that he did. The next day and the management team have arrived at Katie and Peter’s house to discuss some of the stories that have been printed about them since they’ve been away. The stories claim that Katie is in a depression and went to LA to see a therapist. Katie is shocked and angry when she hears the stories and Peter cannot understand where they get the stories from.

The final day at Disney and it’s a day for the adults to try out all their favourite rides. Peter, who has had panic attacks on rollercoasters before, is very nervous about going on them and while Katie and the rest of the family enjoy ride after ride, he contemplates whether the fear controls him, or whether he can control the fear. After much deliberation and coaxing from everyone else, he finally steps in, but a few seconds later he’s out again and has wimped out. The episode ends with the famous fireworks, and as Katie and Peter watch the show, they get all lovey dovey, before they attempt to wrap up the show with a goodbye, but just can’t get the words right.
