Kerry Katona stepped out looking decidedly weird last weekend.

The troubled reality TV star – who has been quite quiet since she left her management agency CAN Associates last month – was pictured near her mother Sue’s home in Warrington, Cheshire, wearing a badly fitting black wig.

The mum of four looked like she had bought the hairpiece from the local fancy dress shop and if it was meant to be a disguise, designed to shield her from waiting members of the paparazzi, then we’d suggest a paper bag next time.

Kerry has been spending more time up north of late, after she was dropped by CAN, ordered out of her Surrey mansion and left with no means to pay her bills and reverse her bankrupt status.

Insiders say she is hoping to stabilise her finances, by entering the Celebrity Big brother house next month. It has been reported that Katona was offered £250,000 for a month long stint and her mum, Sue, who provided Kerry with drugs when she was just a child, is considering going in with her.

One show she won’t be signing up for is Strictly Come Dancing, as acid tongued judge Craig Revel Horwood recently revealed that she is on his ban list!
