Woman Almost Drowns On Uri Geller TV Show

Uri Geller has his own reality TV show, that’s the first ridiculous fact in this story, the second is that as part of the show he almost managed to drown a woman. The world of TV is a weird and wonderful place!

Amila, 26, was a contestant on German reality TV show, ‘The Next Uri Geller’, and was trying to prove that she had psychic powers by guessing a four-digit code, which would release her from a tank filling with water.

She didn’t guess it and after being submerged in water for 25 seconds had to be freed by staff with bolt cutters.

“Luckily somehow I had this instinct to shout out: ‘Get her out of there quickly’,” Geller told The Sun. “It was a horrifying drama.”

Obviously the German public love a bit of drama and they have voted her through to the next round of the show. Uri supports the decision and wants the woman to repeat the challenge again.

“I am afraid that if she doesn’t do it again she might have a major phobia of this performance,” he said. “People expected me to give her a very negative verdict, but I didn’t. I was very impressed by her confidence and her courage.”

Amila must be happy to “near” drown herself in the tank as it made her near a star.:) She is a charming woman and a good actress.
