There have of course been rumours floating around for a while now that rapper Wretch 32 and former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole are more than just good friends…

And in a recent interview with Yahoo, Wretch – whose real name is Jermaine Scott – fuelled those rumours by revealing that he’d quite like to roll around in mud with Cheryl!

He made his remarks while attending the very wet and muddy Isle of Wight music festival, and when asked which celebrity he’d most enjoy a mud fight with, he replied, “Muddy with in a field at a festival? Well Cheryl Cole maybe.”

And OMG adds that Wretch reportedly recently asked T4 On The Beach organisers to ensure a special VIP pass for Cheryl so that he can spend time with her backstage at the gig next weekend…

Meanwhile, Cheryl confirmed to Radio 1 DJ Greg James that she and Scott had been out to dinner together recently.

She said, “[Yes] I went out for dinner with him,” and she later took to Twitter to say, “FYI Wretch 32 is one of the nicest people I have met #cute.”

Cheryl Cole has of course collaborated with Wretch on a track for her third album A Million Lights.

Entitled ‘Screw You’, Wretch provided guest vocals on the track.
