Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger has been glamming up the X Factor auditions in Manchester this weekend and her presence is a breath of fresh air, considering that both other female judges are on leave at the moment.

Covering for Dannii Minogue while she enjoys some well deserved maternity leave, the 32 year old Hawaiian singer has been joining Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell on their quest to find Britain’s best singer. Addressing the Mancunian audience on Friday she enthused:

“What’s up Manchester!

“It feels like we’re about to have a concert. I’m so happy to be here. I’m sorry Cheryl isn’t with us but she’s here in spirit and I will try to hold the girl power down.

“It’s such a pleasure to be here. Let’s have some fun!”

“I love Manchester. Last time I was here with the Pussycat Dolls it was the best performance ever!”

Donning a figure hugging grey gown (from Victoria Beckham’s line) Nicole was dressed to impress, most likely hoping to dazzle Mr Cowell. The music mogul is said to be eying Lewis Hamilton’s girlfriend for the American version of X Factor, due to launch next year and her three day Manchester judging stint is thought to be a trial run or audition for the role.
