X Factor 2012: Nicole Scherzinger offered £500k to fill fourth judging seat?

According to reports the riddle of the fourth X Factor judge may just about to be solved, as former Pussycat Doll and X Factor USA judge, Nicole Scherzinger, has been offered the job.

According to The Sun newspaper Scherzinger, who was sacked as a judge from the US version of the X Factor at the end of last series after replacing Cheryl Cole who was sensationally sacked after a few weeks in the job, is to be presented with a contract from the bosses behind the hugely popular talent show after she impressed them so much as a stand in judge at last weeks London auditions.

X Factor execs are hopeful that the singer, and girlfriend of Brit F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton, will sign the deal and join the judging panel immediately, meaning that stand in judges for the audition stages will no longer be required.

The job, which was left vacant by Destiny’s Child singer, Kelly Rowland at the end of last series, has been the constant talk of the media as bosses repeatedly failed to fill it, especially when a last-minute offer to former X Factor judge Dannii Minogue was rejected at the 11th hour, forcing the auditions to start with only three judges, Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh, confirmed.

According to reports, it was the backing of head judge Gary Barlow that made the show producers decide on Scherzinger, who they had previously denied was a candidate.

A show source said: “We are talking to Nicole about taking on the job full time. She is the only person in the frame.

“It’s now down to money and whether she can commit to the show, which takes up most of the rest of the year.

“She has given us positive signs. But no one is counting their chickens after what happened with Dannii Minogue.”

Dannii Minogue, who left the X Factor in the big shake up caused by the launch of the US version of the show, turned down the offer of her old job after her affair with X Factor puppeteer, Simon Cowell, was revealed in his unofficial biography Sweet Revenge: The intimate life of Simon Cowell, written by Tom Bower.

Please no not Nicole she was a terrible judge on the X Factor USA,I thought they wanted to improve the ratings?tgey certainly won’t if she’s given the job she was so boring her comments and song choices were terrible bad choice if this is true.

  2. JV says:

It’s funny how on one hand, the UK treat her so well, but her own country attacks her non-stop and doesn’t even want to give her a chance, that started since 2007. Lol! Oh well Nicole, I’d say ditch the US market and focus your career somewhere where you’re appreciated.

Hope this happens! That clip is great as well! I loved Kelly, but if we can’t hav her, Nicole will be great. She has talent, knows her music, and is all round credible. Tulisa is useless, so we do need a credile woman…please!

Rumours yet again to build publicity for the show. I am not going to believe Nicole is the new judge until it has been confirmed.

I do think all those concerned with The X Factor are dragging this mystery fourth judge out far too long. It should in my opinion just be revealed now.
