Just when you thought former X Factor contestant, Wagner, couldn’t get any creepier, he goes and gets his 20 year old girlfriend pregnant!

Wagner, who took part in the hit ITV talent show under the irresponsible mentoring of Louis Walsh who used the slightly unstable, tone deaf and generally strange little man as a gimmick act, has announced that his girlfriend Lydia Longville, 36 years his junior, is expecting his baby, saying:  “I can’t wait to be a dad again.”

This will be Wagner’s second child, he has a five-year-old son with a previous partner, but his first with Lydia, who he met while competing in the show.

Speaking to love it! Magazine, Wagner said:

“Chances are, I have 20 or 30 years left, but there’s nothing I can do about it.

“If I didn’t do karate, I may as well step into a coffin now, though.”

Despite their huge age gap, the couple insist they are very happy, with Lydia commenting on their first meeting:

“I can even remember that he was wearing a black shirt with red roses on it, and a burgundy jacket.”

Wagner added: “If people say I’m a cradle snatcher, they’re short-sighted, I don’t feel 56.”

“To be frank, we love each other very much and can’t wait to start a family.”

However, it doesn’t seem likely that we will be hearing wedding bells any time soon

Wagner explained: “I’ve committed this marriage crime twice and I’ve done my time.”

“A wedding is like a holiday to me – you do it when you have time and money.”

Lydia added: “Let’s just say his experience has paid off. He didn’t serenade me with a song in the bedroom, but there’s always been lots of sexual chemistry.”

On the subject of their decision to start a family, Wagner commented:

“We’d stopped using contraception so it was inevitable, because she’s young and fertile.

“I’m like a vampire – I only like young blood.”
