X Factor contestant, Diana Vickers, has been given the all clear to sing on this weeks live show.

Doctors banned Diana from singing last week after she went down with a bad case of Laryngitis, her illness also prevented her from attending a master class with world famous diva, Mariah Carey.

A show source told The Mirror: "Diana is desperate to sing and can’t wait to get into the studio again. Having to sit out last weekend was painful for her and now she just wants to get back on track.

"She has to catch up with the others and win over the viewers to show that the judges were right to allow her to take a week off. But at the same time she needs to take it easy to begin with so she doesn’t strain her vocal chords."
