After Girlband sang Michael Jackson’s ‘Heal The World’ on Saturday night, the song that led to them leaving the show, Simon Cowell commented that it was such a cliché, he half expected to see a polar bear and children’s choir emerge onto the stage.

It has emerged today that Simon wasn’t so far off the mark as originally the girls were supposed to perform with a children’s choir complete with fluffy rabbits.

In a chat earlier this morning Phoebe from Girlband told Unreality TV:

“They wanted us to come out with a school choir and all the kids to be holding hamsters and gerbils. We texted Louis and pleaded with him not to let it happen.”

“After the comments last week about our dresses, we wanted the performance this week to focus on our voices,”

Someone needs to string up Brain Friedman, this had to have come from him!
