X Factor judges amazed by homeless contestant, and a rejected contestant storms the stage!

Now we have heard some heartbreaking sob stories on the X Factor over the years, but we think this one takes the premiership trophy when it comes to pulling the heartstrings as the X Factor hs auditioned its first ever homeless contestant!

The judges were left open-mouthed last week when the 26-year-old  man, named Robbie, shuffled onto the stage and revealed that he had been living on the streets, on and off, for the past 6 years.

Robbie revealed that he had spent his childhood in care and dropped out of school, and when asked why he wanted to win the competition, he replied that he was desperate for something to stop him from feeling so “lost” (proper lump in throat stuff, if it was an act just to get a sympathy vote, the guy is a genius!)

Then, with the entire audience willing him to be good, he blew the judges away with his  acoustic version of Paolo Nutini’s Last Request.

A source at the London audition told The Sun Newspaper: “This guy turned up and he did look a bit scruffier than your average X Factor wannabe.

“He was wearing a battered old hat and looked pretty sorry for himself.

“His story really touched the judges as it was obvious how much it meant to him to be there on the stage.

“He did a great version of Last Request. It was a very special moment.”

Whilst the judges, Gary Barlow, Rita Ora, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos, all choked back the tears, the comments he received were all very positive, the source added: “Gary said he hoped this performance would change his life.”

It would seem that this was the day of surprises as a former auditionee stormed the stage at the O2 arena and refused to leave until he had sung for the judges.

According tot he newspaper, the man, named Robert, had not made it through to the final audition stage after being told to apply after a failed attempt last year.

An insider revealed to the paper: “He got on stage in a break between acts and refused to go. He said he auditioned in Cardiff last year and was told to come back this year.

“But this year he didn’t get through the first stages so he just showed up in the audience then got on the stage.

“He said he was here because he wanted a chance and wanted to make everyone proud.

“But Tulisa just laid into him. She went, ‘There are people waiting back stage who have been queuing here for hours. It’s not fair on them’.”

The man was not allowed to sing and was escorted off the stage by security!
