X Factor live shows are due to start on Saturday October 10 and it’s gonna be a long’un.

In a bid to compete with the new longer length Strictly Come Dancing shows, ITV have extended their talent show to two hours long, as well as adding a Sunday results show.

The longer length show would support the theory that there will actually be a final 16, instead of 12 this year. The extra time on the show would allow everyone to perform.
