Ex Bay City Roller Stuart Wood has revealed that he would be more than happy to work with the boys for their first single and album if they aren’t offered another deal.

Stuart loved the boys take on his hit ‘Shang-a-Lang’ and would love the boys to record it on a double A side with The Proclaimers track ‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’.

Wood’s business partner Gordon Campbell said last night: “Stuart absolutely loved the MacDonald Brothers’ version of Shang-A-Lang and he wants to sign them up.

“He knows they might be offered a deal but, if not, he’s willing to produce their first single and record.

“He wants them to release a double A-side single on Boxing Day. They have a huge Scottish support and Stuart is confident they can get to No1.”
