X Factor’s Tulisa joins forces with Made In Chelsea’s Francis Boulle to launch young peoples charity!
The latest celebrity charity campaign has seen the likes of X Factor judge, Tulisa Contostavlos joining forces with Made In Chelsea star, Francis Boulle, to launch National Citizen Service (NCS) 2013.
The singer and reality star were joined by Olympic medallist Gemma Gibbons to promote the good cause with Tulisa wearing a T Shirt displaying the logo ‘I create my own future’ which she wore during the event, and then on to London club, KOKO to try and rally up teenagers to sign up to the programme!
This comes a week after The Saturday’s Frankie Sandford become ambassador of mental health charity Mind.
NCS is aimed at 16 to 17 year olds who are looking for help with life skills, confidence and a boost on their CV’s. It also provides 30 hours of social action, where teens get the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities such as canoeing and climbing. Not for the faint hearted!
Tulisa said “It’s great to be part of the 2013 launch of NCS. Saying yes to NCS is great way for 16 and 17 year olds to create their own future and build their confidence. I don’t think anyone should ever underestimate what young people can achieve – and NCS is a brilliant way to get a life-changing journey started.”
