David Weaver, the chairman of The 1990 Trust, handed in a petition signed by 5,330 people objecting to the racist comments made on a recent episode of Shipwrecked on Channel 4.
The people rushed to sign the petition after Shipwrecked contestant Lucy Buchanan was shown remarking that black people should be “reinslaved.”
Weaver said: ‘I hope Ofcom will listen to the overwhelming creation of people who believe a responsible broadcaster should not be broadcasting such racially offensive comments.

Lucy is just a little kid.. an 18 year old with weirdo perspectives that can’t think for herself..’i really need my mum and dad to tell me what to do here’- this is what she said in an epsode after a fight with will.. i think it was. i mean come on lucy.. grow up! stop making judgements at people, thinking that black people are less equal than white people and that women should only be house wives.. sort yur life out bi*ch!
