Channel 4 have confirmed that they will be filming a new series of Shipwrecked to air next year.
The current series of the reality TV show will end this Sunday. Filming for the new one will begin in autumn and air next January.
“We can’t wait to start casting next year’s Shipwreckers,” said exec producer Tania Alexander. “We can expect some exciting new twists and turns in Battle of the Islands 2008!”

how do you apply to go on shipwreked? and what does it entail. im feml in the forces at the moment and would love to go on the show but am not aloud due to media, but if i knew what it entails in would loeave and apply in a few years??
i would also like to know when and how people can apply for the new series of shipwrecked. ive watched it since its first series came out and i have seen the show develpo and would love to take up the challenge! im 24 years old and attractive with a great personailty. im a real country bumpkin and as long as you can take makeup im fine!! xx many thanks
