Last night, One Direction singer Niall Horan and his close friend, former X Factor star Olly Murs, posted bromantic tweets to each other having filmed an edition of celebrity Gogglebox for this year’s Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

To air during the Stand Up To Cancer telethon on Channel 4 on Friday, 21st October, Niall Horan nipped round to Olly’s pad to film the scenes…

And by the looks of it, the lads had great fun!

Olly tweeted, “@NiallOfficial @C4Gogglebox @SU2C such a laugh mate!! Next time at your gaff!!”

Meanwhile, Niall wrote, “Had some laugh with @ollyofficial doing @C4Gogglebox at ollys house for the @SU2C special.

“Can’t wait to watch it back.”

Dozens of other celebs are taking part in Stand Up To Cancer this year, and many of them will share their own harrowing tales of how cancer has affected them and their families.

But of course, cancer doesn’t discriminate; it affects everyone, everywhere, which is why events such as the Stand Up To Cancer telethon are so important…

The money raised enables research and trials that otherwise, would simply never take place.

Stand Up To Cancer’s official website states, “The campaign has now raised over £23.8 million.

“The money raised so far has been spent funding clinical trials, which aim to improve survival rates and bring breakthroughs in labs to the patients who need them.”

What a wonderful charity this is.

But on a lighter note, we can’t wait to see what Niall Horan and Olly Murs have to say about the shows they’ll be seen watching in their SU2C celeb Gogglebox video…

Their bromance is one we absolutely love, and not least because they are both so affectionate towards each other.

But there, the lovely Niall Horan tends to wear his heart on his sleeve with those he’s closest to, which makes a very nice change from the machismo that many men insist of presenting!

Don’t miss Niall Horan and Olly Murs on Stand Up To Cancer night, on Channel 4, October 21st.
