As you may have heard, Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock was the focus of some drama this week after storming out of an interview with Roman Kemp for his Capital Evening Show.
However, all was not as it seemed…
It all began when Roman and the Little Mix girls were discussing the group’s new single, Shout Out To My Ex.
Roman asked, “Is it awkward when you write a song like this?
“Do you have to speak to all exes and stuff like that? Do you have to clear stuff and be like ‘oh, is this song about that person?’”
Leigh-Anne replied, “Bit inappropriate, wasn’t it?”
An abashed Roman said, “Sorry, I didn’t mean it like that…”
An apparently irate Leigh-Anne said, “It gets on my nerves though when people ask things like that!
“Like why? We’re not here to talk about exes. I know the songs called that, but it’s just like, talk about how it’s a positive thing. Do you know what I mean?”
At that point, her band mate Perrie Edwards said, “Don’t get upset, it’s cool.”
However, Leigh-Anne then spat, “Just do it without me” before storming out of the studio, leaving Roman shocked and temporarily speechless!
But it’s been revealed that in fact, it was all a joke and the entire thing had been staged by Roman’s pal and colleague, Marvin Humes, in reprisal for a prank Roman had pulled on him recently.
Check that out…
And here’s how Marvin got Roman back thanks to Little Mix and Leigh-Anne!
Leigh-Anne is a brilliant actress isn’t she? We were fooled!
Don’t miss more of Roman Kemp on Capital, Monday to Thursday, 7pm-10pm, and Sundays 9am-12pm.
