Yanet Fuentes & Drew McOnie leave So You Think You Can Dance

Drew McOnie and Yanet Fuentes been voted off So You Think You Can Dance and narrowly missed out on a place in next week’s semi final.

Yanet and Drew found themselves in the bottom four dancers alongside Charlie Bruce and Robbie White.

Arlene admitted that she had difficulty choosing between the bottom four, saying that they all had delivered such ‘powerful dancing.’

Nigel told the girls that the judges were unanimous in their decision and added that both girls deserved to be at the bottom.

He said

“Yanet you need to be careful that your personality comes out in your face as well as your body. Sometimes your face doesn’t express your feelings.”

“Charlie it is amazing that last week you were up at the top and this week you are down at the bottom. You were exposed this week and it does show your weakness as a young dancer.”

“Yanet I don’t think you will be surprised to hear that you are not in our final six.”

Yanet told host Cat Deeley:

“I am disappointed but I feel like a winner. I have come such a long way and hopefully it will improve my career.”

Nigel told the boys that again the judges were unanimous in their decision, however it was a decision that they didn’t want to give. He said:

“We are terribly upset that we have to make this choice as I was certain that both of you would be in the final.”

“Both your solos were fantastic though we weren’t a fan of the gold telephone Drew. Spider (Robbie) your double turn into the side split was incredible this evening and may have sealed it for you. Drew I’m sorry you are leaving us this week.”

On hearing the judges decision, Drew told presenter Cat Deeley:

“This whole experience has genuinely changed me and I will take that forward in my career and hopefully it will make me a better dancer and a better person.
