In the aftermath of the events of the week before in Emmerdale, the villagers continue to try to come to terms with what happened…

And on Tuesday 25th October, we rejoin the rural drama to see Rebecca begging Lachlan not to tell Chrissie about her affair with Robert. And soon, Lachlan seems reassured that Rebecca is being genuine.

Later, Rebecca quizzes Chrissie about Lawrence, giving her a last chance to come clean about not being his daughter. But when Chrissie fails to do so, Rebecca rips up her card. Lachlan spots the ruined card and realises Rebecca isn’t as genuine as she seems…

So, just as Chrissie gives Rebecca her present, Lachlan tells his Mum she was sleeping with Robert. Chrissie and Rebecca fight and as they argue, Rebecca points out they aren’t really sisters. Chrissie alarmed that the secret’s out, and panics for her future.

That evening, Chrissie fills in Lachlan on the fact that their inheritance is at risk, and the pair plots on how to defeat Rebecca.
